Jiigi – Our effort to make Beauty Services simple
Hello everyone.
My name is Sangeetapu Gopikrishna. I completed my M.Sc. in Zoology.
In society today, just as every person gives importance to Food and Health, they are showing just as much care for personal Beauty & Grooming. Women and men alike, a great many people use Beauty Parlour, Salon or Spa services at least once a month.
I watched this change very closely. At the same time, I also noticed some common problems that people were facing.
The problems people face
Many customers run into these problems.
- Not being able to easily find information about a good Beauty Parlour, Salon or Spa nearby.
- Wasting valuable time searching for hours to find a good service.
- Having no way to book a slot in advance.
- Not having proper information about Beauty Professionals who offer Home Service.
- Not finding the details of all Beauty Services in one place.
These problems belong to more than just a few people. Every single day, thousands of people face difficulties like these.
How did the idea come about?
After noticing all of these problems, a thought came to me: “How good would it be if there were one simple digital solution to all of this?”
That is when I decided to bring Beauty Parlours, Salons and Spas together onto a single digital platform, so that customers could easily find the service they want and book a slot in advance.
That idea took shape as Jiigi.
